Everyone has a story, but between the ages of 14-18 you have about a million! Processing events from your life by shaping them with personal narration is empowering, evokes empathy and builds community.
Its also hella fun!
The benefits of facing an audience (even a super friendly one) with a personal story can not be understated. It builds self esteem and communication skills by taking you out of your comfort zone and kicking butt!
Plus it’s sooo fun!
In this 6 week workshop we build a safe and supportive environment, mine our lives for stories, choose one to work on, and then craft it into 5-8 minutes of well told story wonder! The workshop finishes with a live storytelling show, giving everyone a chance to shine!
